Position Profile: Full Charge Accountant

This key senior-level contributor position is responsible for all accounting & bookkeeping activities and services: A\R, A\P, payroll, purchase orders, reconciliation of accounts, deposits, EOM reports, regulatory filings, and budget reporting to the Managing Partner/CEO of the Company. This function includes transfer of records between TL software (ServSimple) & Accounting software (QuickBooks) and managing the Company’s financials, and handling customer support and dispute resolution.

The Full Charge Accountant owns the definition, planning, execution and management of the processes and activities that make up this function and will be accountable for the performance of these activities.

Key responsibilities include:
• Issue daily invoicing and billing
• Posting and control of A\R and A\P;
• Monthly reconciliation of accounts and ledgers, and working with CPA, CFO & CEO to correct any problems or issues;
• Filing all regulatory forms for Company & it’s employees and or staff.
• Preparing monthly financial reports, and working with the Company’s CPA, CFO & CEO in the preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements;
• Maintaining all asset records and vehicle records, registrations, and licensing.
• Maintaining all City, State, County, Government filings, registrations, and licensing;
• Manage and maintain Health programs;
• Manage and maintain IRA’s;

Base Qualifications:
The Full-Charge Accountant must have the following qualifications:

• 7+ years of experience as a Full-Charge Accountant with recent, successful experience in managing corporate financial and accounting activities as contemplated for this position;
• Excellent communication (both written and oral), customer interaction and relationship management skills;
• Knowledge of MS Office suite & QuickBooks billing/cost tracking system;
• Knowledge of federal, state and local tax accounting and reporting requirements;
• Capable of troubleshooting computer system problems and identifying solutions.

• Intensely customer oriented and driven;
• Independent worker with confidence to work in a small business environment;
• Good working knowledge of basic business and contract law;
• Familiarity with electrical industry and procurement;
